Estimate distortion percentage and corrected artwork length from a user-supplied K value.
How it works
Distortion (%) = (K / Repeat) × 100. The scale factor is 1 − Distortion / 100.
Example
With K = 5 mm and a 500 mm repeat, distortion is 1% and a 500 mm image becomes 495 mm.
Limitations
K depends on the plate and sticky-back stackup. Use the vendor-published K for the actual setup; no plate-gauge default is assumed.
